AMB "Advanced Memory Buffer" High-capacity, High-throughtput Memory subsystems

AMB is the central part of fully buffered dual in-line memory modules (FB-DIMMs). NEC Electronics' activities regarding AMB technology are introduced here.

  • Supports 800MHzM
    The FB-DIMM supports the difficult to realize 800MHz.
  • Supports Quad Rank X8/X4
    When memory capacity is expanded there is a need to pay attention to the heat generated. By selecting the QuadRank you can reduce electric consumption.
  • Supports LV-FBDIMM
